Providing discerning account-holders with the opportunity to win big, through a wide range of prize-draws throughout the year, Ahli Bank is delighted to announce the unveiling of its popular ‘Wafra Prize Scheme 2020’.
Under the Prize Scheme, total prizes worth over RO 1.8 million will be awarded to more than 1300 customers across Ahli Bank’s branches in the Sultanate. True to its name – ‘Wafra’, which means ‘abundance’ in Arabic, the Bank’s Prize Scheme 2020 provides customers with numerous chances to win attractive prizes, across Weekly, Monthly, Salary Transfer, Children’s, National Day, as well as other ‘Premium and Exclusive’ prize-draws. Aimed at instilling a savings culture in the sultanate, the Wafra Prize Scheme also includes a mega prize of 1 million Omani Rials – ‘Salary for Life’ every quarter, which gives 4 lucky customers a chance to win a whopping RO 250,000!
Wafra’s Weekly Prize Scheme rewards one customer from each branch with RO 500. Customers who maintain a minimum weekly balance of RO 100 are eligible to participate in the draw. The Monthly Prize scheme rewards five winners with RO 2000 each. Account holders who maintain a monthly average balance of RO100 are eligible to participate in the draws scheduled in January, February, April, May, July, August, October and November.
Under the Wafra Prize Scheme, children too are encouraged to save and win rewards for their prudence. As per the Children’s Scheme that has been devised specially in keeping with the needs and requirements of young ones – five children will win RO 200 each, every month. The account-holders will have to maintain a monthly average balance of RO 100 to be eligible for the prize draw, which is conducted every month from January to December 2020. Wafra’s Salary Transfer prize scheme will reward two winners with RO 1,000 each, on a monthly basis. Those who maintain a monthly average balance of RO 100 and have a minimum monthly salary of RO 1,000 are eligible to participate in the draw.
Having something for everyone – under the Wafra Priza Scheme 2020 – customers can also look forward to other exciting ‘Premium and Exclusive’ prize draws. Those who maintain a monthly average balance of RO 35,000 and above, are eligible to participate in a special prize draw of RO 50,000 each; which will be held in March and September. Furthermore, special prizes to mark Oman’s National Day will enable 50 account-holders to win RO 1,000 each. Those who maintain a monthly average balance of RO 100 are eligible to participate in the draw.
An opportunity of a lifetime – under Wafra’s ‘Salary for Life’ prize scheme, a lucky winner will win RO 250,000 (RO1,000 to be paid monthly for 250 months) every quarter of the year. Customers who maintain a quarterly average balance of RO 1,000 are eligible to participate in the ‘Salary for Life’ prize draw, which will take place in March, June, September and December 2020.
The Wafra Prize Scheme has received an overwhelming response from the Bank’s customers. In 2019, total of prizes worth over RO 1.3 million to more than 1,000 customers had been awarded under the scheme. Not just this, another special draw for Premium and Private banking customers, wherein two lucky account-holders won RO 50,000 each, was also organized as part of the Wafra Priza Scheme for 2019.
