Industry experts will share their insights on the challenges facing Oman’s manufacturing sector at OER-BLME’s webinar on ‘Manufacturing: Negotiating the New Reality,’ on August 31.

Said Al Rashdi, CEO, Oman Manufacturers Association, Agnello Borim, Chief Operating Officer, Sohar Aluminium, Samah AlNaamani, Brand Manager, Jotun Paints will address the webinar. Mayank Singh, Group Editor, United Media Services will moderate the session.
The webinar will discuss the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, mitigating shrinking export markets and protectionist tendencies, necessity of adopting 4.0 industrial processes and business sustainability.

The manufacturing sector in Oman is facing a host of challenges like – supply chain disruption, vanishing export markets, increased downtime, safekeeping of employees and sustaining their business as a result of COVID-19 pandemic.
