SPOILER FREE REVIEW: Spider-Man: No Way Home

Muscat: Get your senses tingling! The ultimate Spider-Man movie that the Marvel fans are waiting for is here! Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have released the 3rd instalment of the Spider-Man franchise starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Benedict Cumberbatch, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx and Marissa Tomei.

***NO SPOILERS ARE CONTAINED IN THIS REVIEW, OTHER THAN WHAT IS SHOWN IN THE ALREADY RELEASED TRAILERS FOR THE FILM***

Spider-Man was released on your nearby screens on December 17th worldwide. The movie picks up right where Far from Home left off, Peter Parker’s identity being revealed publically by Quentin Beck (Mysterio) and falsely accuses him of murdering him as a testimonial video. The film was an absolute CHAOS from start to finish and leaves you feeling all kinds of emotions. Tom Holland has accurately portrayed the nervous, clumsy, witty energy of a mere 17-year-old teenager who has the responsibility of saving the world and also……finding a reputed university to get into with his friends and possibly have a shot at normalcy!

But what we witness in ‘No Way Home’ is Peter Parker transitioning into a stand-alone superhero. He makes life-altering decisions at a personal sacrifice with no one to look out for him and stop him from making those choices (Because with great power comes great responsibility.) Peter Parker’s relationship and Friendship has been touched upon with more depth with MJ and Ned. Zendaya and Jacob Batalon aced their performances as well.

It was fantastic to see the veteran villains return once again on the big screen. Alfred Molina (Doctor Octavius), Jamie Foxx (Electro) and Willem Dafoe (Green Goblin) reprise their roles as the arch-nemesis of Spidey again.

We will not be giving you any further details of the film. Go watch it, have a great time with the emotional roller coaster ride and come out beaming from the theatres like a 9-year-old kid!

This movie is definitely a 4.5/5 and yes this time a Stan Lee cameo was genuinely missed! Book your tickets now and miss out on this enthralling Cinematic experience.

Excelsior!
