HM Issues Royal Decree To Appoint Non-Resident Ambassadors To Oman

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Wednesday issued a Royal decree reading as follows:

Article 1, appoints Dr. Ahmed bin Salem bin Muhammad Ba Omar, our ambassador to the Republic of Italy, to be the ambassador of Oman, an extraordinary and non-resident plenipotentiary to the Republic of San Marino

Article 2, Salih bin Sulaiman bin Ahmed Al-Harithi, the ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, shall be appointed as Oman’s ambassador as an extraordinary and non-resident plenipotentiary to the Republic of Malawi.

Article 3, Appoints Dr. Muhammad bin Saeed bin Khalifa Al Busaidi, the ambassador to Japan, to be Oman’s ambassador as an extraordinary and non-resident plenipotentiary to New Zealand.

Article 4: Appoints Salih bin Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Saqri, the ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to be the Sultanate’s ambassador as an extraordinary and non-resident plenipotentiary to each of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

Article 5, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Hamad al-Harithi appointed as the ambassador to the Kingdom of Netherlands to be Oman’s representative as a plenipotentiary to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
