Muscat: In line with its continuous endeavour to provide an unique banking experience to its customers, and a conducive work environment for its employees, ahlibank celebrated the official inauguration of its new iconic Head Quarter’s building in Al Wattaya. The milestone event was held under the auspices of His Excellency Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority, along with top delegates, customers and stakeholder. A significant milestone in the bank’s journey, the opening of the bank’s new building, comes in line with its commitment to supporting the country’s socio-economic growth and to Oman Vision 2040. The bank also dedicated the evening to its 15th anniversary, as a testament to ahlibank’s commitment and progress as a critical player in the Sultanate’s banking sector.
Expressing his delight on the success of the celebration, Mr. Said Abdullah Al Hatmi, Chief Executive Officer of ahlibank, commented, “The inauguration of the new building not only evidences our business growth but also signals a further deepening of our longstanding commitment to our customers and the Sultanate as we continue to strive for new levels of excellence in the banking industry. An exciting agenda surrounded the celebration, which began with an in-depth tour of the new building and its facilities, which dedicated a corner for the bank’s milestones and achievements, followed by an extensive overview of “ahliExpress”, the bank’s multi-functional device, and its growing suite of digital banking services.
The bank’s new building has innovation at its core and has several facilities tuned to match a modern lifestyle. It follows an open-plan layout accommodating 1,000 employees, and other outstanding facilities. Focusing on enhancing accessibility, the three HQ buildings which are stretched over 34,000 square meters are linked through a network of corridors with a contemporary design which also connects the multi-level parking building to each of the floors of the building. The 7-storey new building has more than 600 parking spaces for the bank’s employees and customers.
The new state-of-the-art building is built keeping the highest international innovative standards of architecture in mind. With ahlibank’s proven digital competence in providing a futuristic operating environment, the new building also incorporates enhanced digital services to reduce turnaround time and increase the accuracy of transactions.
