BREAKING: Supreme Committee Allows Reopening Of Mosques In Oman

Muscat: The Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from Coronavirus (COVID-19) has announced today that mosques in Oman will reopen from November 15.

The committee added that mosques with an occupational capacity of ‘not less than 400 worshipers’ can reopen from the coming Sunday for five daily prayers. This does not include Friday prayers.

Worshippers must also maintain one-and-a-half meters of social distancing while praying, and also bring their own prayer mats.
