Ahlibank’s Retail Banking Team Concludes 2021 With Exceptional Achievements

Muscat: Continuing to establish its position as a preferred bank not just for customers, but also as an employer, ahlibank has been conducting a series of recognition meetings to felicitate its employees and keep them motivated. At the back of exceptional business performance, ahlibank held a ceremonial event to honour the most outstanding achievements of its Retail Banking team, post a review of the bank’s 2021 fourth quarter, based on a series of indicators reflecting the bank’s overall performance and the way forward approach for 2022. 

ahlibank has been able to achieve positive growth in its profits and assets over the past year, due to its keenness to strengthen its traditional and digital products and services to serve its customers, with a key focus on retail banking. This highly competent division of the bank has been instrumental in expanding ahlibank’s portfolio of retail products and services in 2021, even during the challenging business environment. The team strengthened ahlibank’s retail product portfolio with new launches for diverse customer categories, including, ‘MyChoice’ and ‘Al-Nukhba’. Designed to meet the clients’ future requirements, ahlibank’s strengthened retail portfolio supports its sustainable growth and expansion in the Sultanate.

ahlibank’s annual meeting of the retail division progressed with interactive discussions involving representatives of teams from product, marketing, branch support, branch transformation, customer management, customer experience, E-channels and operations. The Bank’s Retail Banking achievements were reviewed, highlighting significant growth and expansion of retail banking solutions, a customer-focused approach, and a dedicated team of relationship managers. The Bank continues to expand its activities to ensure a fast, easy and secure banking experience for its customers across all branches, and to employ its immediate digital potential, which has been reflected through the launch of a new service on the Bank’s mobile and internet application, allowing new customers to open an account with the bank within one minute.

The meeting concluded with a formal ceremony to honour the top achievers of the retail banking team. The management rewarded a number of the Retail Banking staff with tokens of appreciation for their contribution to the Bank’s portfolio growth and their commitment to achieving its vision.
